The Internet Makes Us Efficient

Everything new in the world at the first glance is not acceptable or likeable.  Also, each individual has an opinion and what we can derive that everything has its own audience.  The work in our universe nowadays has to be efficient and quickly. The Internet is one of the most things that help us to do our work, research, assignment, or even the house repairs more efficiently. Some scientists say that the Internet is making us stupid or less thinking. It also reduced the desire of reading and the attraction to write. But the same group of people who does not like to read a long article in a blog, they can surf the web and watch videos for hours.  On the other hand, there are some people who like to read and sit down and immerse in a great book, or something like an interesting article.
In another perspective, the Internet is not making us stupid, but it is making us more demanding to the others or to the Internet itself.   In the past 10 years, we had a limited number of topics that we could read or review such as in newspapers, magazines, or television, etc.  Therefore, the topics needed to be in a greater amount of description and depth just to stay up-to-date.  However, today, we can delve a wider range through the Internet without going in details because there are too many topics to read and the websites post them in an adequate way with the critical information we need.  It was not expected that an individual would access to any type of information needed in any time, and that includes knowing about world’s news. Although our life become busier than the past, we can acquire the information we crave.
Technology made our life easier, but we do not have the time to do other activities.  We spend most of the time messaging our friends and using the social network websites that make our time limited. Therefore, there is no time to read long books or articles even if it was an important one, but only skimming through it. The old people only had puzzles, books, family or friends gatherings, or card games in their leisure time that help them to think more than now.  Even though we do not use our mined frequently, we still can have more knowledge by a click in Google.
The only thing that has changed from the past is the type of knowledge. For example, if we want to do a research in a certain subject, we would go to the library and read books to seek for information.  Conversely, we can do the same research in an ocean of knowledge, which is the Internet but with less effort, and more efficiency.
The Internet makes my life easier and more efficient.  I do not think of the Internet as the reason that makes people stupid.  In addition, the Internet has not become the essential source for information by itself. The humans are the ones who equipped the Internet with the information.
